Lent Discussion Group: The Good News of Deconstruction

This Lent, you’re invited into a discussion-based group designed for curiosity, honesty, and deep conversation. We’ll gather Tuesday evenings and Thursday mornings (the same conversation both times each week), so you can choose the time that works best for you.

This is not a traditional Bible study. Instead, we’ll use the weekly lectionary readings as a starting point for conversation—asking big questions, naming doubts, exploring ideas we may have inherited without ever examining, and making space for faith that is thoughtful, evolving, and real.

This group is intentionally:

• Open and safe — wherever you are in your faith (or lack of it), you’re welcome

• Curiosity-driven — questions are encouraged, not shut down

• Discussion-focused — no pressure to perform, agree, or land on “the right answer”

• Honest — deconstruction is allowed here, and so is reconstruction

You don’t need prior Bible knowledge. You don’t need to believe the “right” things. You just need a willingness to show up and engage.
