City Youth
An inclusive, doubt-friendly youth ministry at Cityview Church
Middle school and high school are incredibly formative years in the lives of youth, especially when it comes to faith, identity, and personal values. Students ask deep questions about who they are, what they believe, and how they fit into the world around them. Additionally, the influences of culture, peers, and media can shape their worldviews in powerful ways. We aim to provide a Christ-centered youth ministry that offers a fun, safe, and supportive space for students to deepen their faith, wrestle with questions, and bring their authentic selves, allowing them to connect with God, one another, and adult volunteers.
Our volunteer team of background-checked adults meets with youth in 6th-12th grades on the Fourth Sunday of every month during the worship service. They typically watch a short teaching video, have a discussion, and participate in icebreakers, activities, or games. They also organize special events outside of Sunday morning, such as lock-ins, game nights, service projects, and other interest-specific programs. Many of our youth have also completed training and serve on other church teams such as City Kids, Worship, and Hospitality. Our youth are valued members of our community!
