Children & Youth Summer Events

Don’t miss some of the important events and dates for children and youth this summer!

No Youth Gathering in July, but join the church for breakfast and feel free to sit together.

Senior Send Off - Cityview Youth will recognize and celebrate our graduating senior, Miriam Rule, during the worship service on August 9.

Welcome Event - Youth families, mark your calendars for the evening of Friday, August 21.  The youth volunteers are designing a fun event for current youth to welcome the incoming 6th graders.  Details will follow, but save the date now!  

Move Up Sunday - On August 23 during worship, children will “move up” into the next grade level for Sunday programming.  New 6th graders will join the youth for their monthly gathering.

Bible Dedication - New kindergarteners will receive their own Bibles during worship on August 23 and then join the CityKids Elementary class.

Supporting Neurodiverse Kids - Mark your calendars for a workshop/training for CityKids volunteers, parents, and caregivers this summer.  Our clinician will be Dr. Emily Wojniak-Heselton, a clinical counselor and school psychologist who specializes in neurodiversity-affirming therapy.  

AUGUST 30th, 11:15 am-12:45 pm; Childcare will be available.
