Youth Late Night - Welcome Incoming 6th Graders! Join the Volunteers and Youth for pizza, games, and late-night fun at the church. Friday, August 21, from 6PM-11PM. Friends in 6th-12th grades are welcome.
Move Up Sunday - On August 23 during worship, children will “move up” into the next grade level for Sunday programming. New 6th graders will join the youth for their monthly gathering.
Bible Dedication - New kindergarteners will receive their own Bibles during worship on August 23 and then join the CityKids Elementary class.
Lake Day Rescheduled - Meet at Alum Creek (Cheshire Road Boat Ramp) on August 29 (new date!) for a fun-filled afternoon of games, grilling hot dogs, and boat rides. Thank you, Dan! Wear your swimsuit if you would like to swim and/or tube. 1:00pm-4:00pm.
Supporting Neurodiverse Kids - Register now for a workshop/training for CityKids volunteers, parents, and caregivers on August 30, 11:15am-12:45pm. Click HERE and select the “church pass” or “virtual pass” option. Our clinician will be Dr. Emily Wojniak-Heselton, a clinical counselor and school psychologist. Dr. Emily will focus on practical, neurodiversity-affirming strategies to help kids feel seen, understood, and successful at home and in school/church/community settings. There will also be time for Q & A as well as scenario-based application.
Youth Servant Training - Youth 10-years-old and above are able to serve in the Nursery/PreK room. Contact Molly (molly@cityviewcolumbus.org) if your child is interested in joining an upcoming Youth Servant Training.
