Join us for 6 week study on Central City’s “Rule of Life”

Throughout the history of the church, communities have developed a "Rule of Life" that helps guide them to become fully-formed followers of Jesus. Our Rule of Life is what we believe it looks like to be a follower of Jesus here at Central City.

Week 1: GROW SPIRITUALLY

There is no standing still in our faith. We are either growing or dying. Through worship and spiritual disciplines we hope to keep our faith in God alive. 

Week 2: CONNECT RELATIONALLY

We were not meant to do life alone—we need each other. We believe in relational excellence. We celebrate vulnerability, welcome confrontation and long for encouragement. 

Week 3: SERVE REGULARLY

Jesus did not come to rule, but to serve. By choosing to serve the church, we are following in the footsteps of Jesus. We encourage everyone to look for two places to serve: one place in the church, and one in the community.  Learn more about serving here.

Week 4: GIVE GENEROUSLY

We give because God first gave to us. Giving is rooted in the heart of God. We don't give because we have to, but because we want to. Learn more about giving here.

Week 5: REACH INTENTIONALLY

Life in God is too great to keep a secret. Through word and deed, mission and evangelism, we strive to be a community that shares the Good News of Jesus Christ. 

Week 6: ENGAGE CROSS-CULTURALLY

The future church will be one of people from all nations and races. We believe our lives should be filled with similar diversity. Our community strives to build cross-cultural relationships in mission and small groups.
